  Qena Water Sanitation, March 2003-May 2003
This survey was carried out in Qena in order to assess the quality of the water networks and sanitation networks from the respondent's point of view. The survey was also concerned with the willingness of respondents to pay for having a water/sanitation network, improving the service and/or maintenance of the network. The survey covered a total of 306 households who were all successfully interviewed. The survey was carried out by El-Zanaty & Associates for the Egypt Environmental Affairs Agency

The objective of this survey is to assess the national communication HIV/AIDS campaign and provide information on the KAP indicators related to HIV/AIDS. The study utilized quantitative and qualitative tools. The study included collecting data from samples of adolescents male and female aged 15-24 years. In addition, FGDs with some vulnerable groups was conducted. UNICEF and El-Zanaty & Associates.

  Caring for Mother and Baby KAP Survey (Baseline and Post Survey) June 2001-July 2001
The goal of this study was to provide information to policy and decision makers that can help in promoting healthy behaviors in relation to mother and baby care during postpartum period among women and their husbands. A quantitative approach was used to measure the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the subject before the campaign started and then after the end of the campaign. Two types of data were used in the Baseline Survey; interviews with married women aged 15-49, and a sub-sample of one-third of husbands of women. The firm had just finished the baseline report. The study is implemented under the auspices of JONE SNOW INC. (Healthy Mother/Healthy Child).
The overall purpose of this assignment is to support the MOHP and UNFPA in their efforts to strengthen the reproductive health impact of the Family Health Model by creating a number of model districts where quality integrated reproductive health care services are not only available and accessible, but where local communities are also supportive of the Family Health Model and familiar with the available reproductive health services and key concepts of their personal reproductive health.

This study was conducted to support the MOHP National efforts to undertake a stronger communication and social mobilization campaign that is directed by scientific evidence in order to reach the objectives (i.e. A free Polio country). The goal of this study was to contribute to the eradication of POLIO in Egypt by providing sound information to enlighten the design and implementation of communication strategies, social mobilization campaigns and assess their outcomes.
