  The Feasibility of Community Based Counseling and Family Planning Method Distribution Program October 2003.
This study is a qualitative one, which aims at assessing the clients, Raidat, Providers, and program managers attitudes towards the CBD, and having a detailed insight about the best ways to design the program. A total of 16 FGDs were conducted during this study with women, husbands, and Raidat in addition to 31 IDIs with providers and program managers. It covered three governorates namely; Assuit, El-Menia, and Beni-Suef. This survey was conducted by El-Zanaty & Associates for Catalyst.
 
  Prevalence of Hepatitis among risk group, October 2002-December 2003.
The purpose of this survey was to identify the reasons behind being infected with the hepatitis. The listing took place at the beginning in Naser and Wayli then households were interviewed (where a blood test was taken from all selected households). A total of 760 households were successfully interviewed. This Survey was carried by El-Zanaty & Associates for Namru.
 
  Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Egyptian Farmers towards Water Resources October 2001- March 2002.
This survey was a national impact survey that was undertaken for the purpose of monitoring national trends regarding the ways in which farmers manage water. The main objective of the KAP survey was to monitor trends related to farmers’ knowledge, attitudes and practices towards water resources. The survey targeted 2,200 farmers.

  The Potential for NGO’s /FP-RH Clinics for Providing Quality Services May 2001-June 2002
The purpose of the research project was to provide information to decision makers that can help in overcoming the challenges that limit the capabilities of NGO’s in providing quality and financially sustainable family planning and reproductive health services. The target information includes the cost-efficiency ratios for FP and RH services offered by the mobile clinics, the institutional capacity of the mobile clinics, the sustainability of demand indicators and the supply/manpower sustainability indicators. Four approaches were used for data collection, collecting data from the records of a sample of NGO’s family planning clinics, exit-interview with around 1000 clients, interview with 200 providers, and in –depth interviews with 30 family planning directors. The study is implemented under the auspices of the Research Management Unit, National Population Council.

The target information includes the cost-efficiency ratios for FP and RH services offered by the mobile clinics, the institutional capacity of the mobile clinics, the sustainability of demand indicators and the supply/manpower sustainability indicators. Four approaches were used for data collection, collecting data from the records of a sample of 150 MOHP family planning clinics, exit-interviews with around 1000 clients, interviews with 150 providers, and in–depth interviews with 30 family planning directors. The study was implemented under the auspices of the Research Management Unit, National Population Council.
 
  Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Industry towards the Environmental Register, Solid Waste Management, and Energy Efficiency May 2000- September 2000
The objectives of this research were to gather information which would help GreenCOM design a communication strategy, as well as appropriate messages, intervention, understand barriers and incentives related to filling out the waste generation and management form, disposing of solid waste in an environmentally sound way, adopting energy efficiency applications and providing baseline measures of manager’s knowledge, attitudes and practices concerning the filling out of the mentioned form. To achieve the previously mentioned objectives a sample of at least 1600 industries was selected at random from the Kompass database, the sample included firms with at least 50 employees. The study was implemented under the auspices of the GreenCOM Egypt.

  Evaluation of an Outreach Program for Alam Simsim, an Educational Television Series for Young Egyptian Children March 2003-September 2003
. The main goal of this study was to assess the Impact of the outreach program on caregivers and children awareness, changes behaviors and increases knowledge about health and hygiene, in addition to educational activities. This was achieved through a baseline and post exposure evaluation survey. The firm was only responsible for conducting the baseline survey. The study used qualitative tools as well as quantitative tools. This survey was conducted for Sesame Workshop New York.
